It seems time stood still in this place. Its small streets, well-preserved houses, craftsmen and the tranquility of its people, makes San Carlos the right place for your relax. Upon our arrival, we\u00b4ll enjoy a lunch tasting food of the region in a typical restaurant and then we\u00b4ll head to Casa de los Vientos Hostal (The House of Winds) where we\u00b4ll participate with the artisans in the experience of making a musical instrument step by step. At the end of our experience, we\u00b4ll start a musical journey throughout all the country with the folk rhythms performed by Perata Ya\u00f1ez family orchestra while tasting a selection of malbec and torrontes wines from the small family cellars together with goat cheese and assorted breads while sitting close to the small fire in the hostal backyard. Accomodation at La Casa de los Vientos or similar.<\/p><p>Day 2: After breakfast, we\u00b4ll depart from the hostal at aorund 9.00 am to start our historical tour around San Carlos. We\u00b4ll visit the church which is part of the national historical heritage, the Avenue of the Doors, the craft workshop of the Santa Ana woven\u00b4s workers and then we will visit the paprika cooperative, where among exquisite aromas we will learn how the most distinctive spices of the region are made. \nWe\u00b4ll return to our hotel to enjoy a lunch with empanadas and local wines. In the afternoon, we\u00b4ll have an experiential activity with master craftsmen who share their workshop activity: potters, making Andean flowers, weaving, metal work or felt, all with Andean iconography. \nAfter this experience, we\u00b4ll head for a 30 km journey to Cafayate. Arrival time around 7.00 pm. Accomodation at Asturias Hotel or similar.<\/p><p>Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel. Today we\u00b4ll visit an artisian vineyard with\nfamily tradition \u201cUtama\u201d where Sacha and his family will welcome us to walk\naround the \u201cCabernet Sauvignon\u201d vineyard. They will explain us the\nprocedures of ecological vine growing free of any agrotoxic.  Then we will\nvisit the artisan winery where they will tell us about the methods of\nartisanal and organic production, bottling and storage of the wine, to\nfinish with an exquisite tasting of two kinds of wines while we enjoy two\nquinoa and vegetable empanadas. Last but not least, we\u00b4ll visit the art\ngallery and the ceramics workshop of the winery, as Utama surprises us by\ncombining arts and wines. After enjoying this experience we will return to\nthe hotel to have the afternoon free. We suggest to visit the Museum of Vine\nand Wine in the heart of Cafayate. Accomodation at Asturias Hotel or\nsimilar.<\/p><p>Day 4: After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we\u00b4ll depart to Salta Airport for our flight back home with all our memories highlighted by the golden rays of the sun reflected in those vineyards we visited.End of our
